In January, Professor Ginny Barbour will take the helm at the country’s leading peer-reviewed medical journal as its new editor-in-chief.

Taking over from Professor Nick Talley, who will stay on as emeritus editor-in-chief, Professor Barbour will embark on the ambitious mission of making the Medical Journal of Australia (MJA) fully open access by 2026.
