Poxy McPox, Bubbleup and TRUMP-22 are among the list of suggested new names for monkeypox, according to a WHO consultation.
It has been more than two months since the WHO first announced it wanted to rename the virus, saying the current name was a misnomer given that primates were not the zoonotic source of the virus.
