When psychiatrist Professor Helen Milroy took a call from the prime minister’s office, asking her to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey, she originally thought she had been pranked.
The nation’s first Indigenous doctor and prominent child and adolescent psychiatrist was chosen as one of 10 ‘everyday’ Australians to accompany the official delegation to Monday’s service in London.
