US researchers have come up with a likely timeline of the first appearance of four major symptoms for patients with COVID-19, in a finding they say will help doctors plan care.
The University of Southern California authors also compared the order of COVID-19 symptoms to those of other major coronavirus illnesses to see whether the diseases have different patterns of symptoms over time.
They used data on the rates of symptom incidence from a WHO dataset of more than 55,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China in February to make their predictions.
