TGA signs off on first COVID-19 booster vaccine for 5-11-year-olds

ATAGI will now decide whether to recommend its addition to the vaccine rollout.

The TGA has granted provisional approval to Australia’s first COVID-19 booster for kids aged 5-11.  

Pfizer’s paediatric Comirnaty vaccine received the TGA nod on Tuesday, but whether it is added to the vaccine rollout will depend on advice from ATAGI.
