TGA needs to offer doctors a ‘little trust’ on COVID-19 gagging rules, says RACGP
It comes as the Federal Government has set up a 'myth-busting' unit to target COVID-19 vaccine conspiracy theories circulating among the community
The RACGP is calling on the TGA to loosen its tight control on what GPs can publicly say about the COVID-19 vaccines after the watchdog warned against doctors “inducing” patients to seek a vaccination.
Any public statement promoting the use or supply of a therapeutic good risks breaching Australia’s ban on advertising prescription medications, the TGA said last week.
