A surgeon who performed “potentially inaccurate” colonoscopies in the NSW-Victorian border region of Albury-Wodonga has been temporarily banned from practising.

Dr Liu-Ming Schmidt remains registered as a doctor but was banned from performing any medical procedures or treating patients under conditions placed on her medical registration on Friday.
