Specialist college defends $6000 ‘application for fellowship’ fee
AMA president Professor Steve Robson wants more transparency over fees as radiologists complain about price hikes.
The AMA has called for greater transparency from the specialist medical colleges around their methods for setting fees for their trainees.
It follows a row within the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) after it introduced a $6000 fee for “admission to fellowship”.
