Dr Aaron Johnston on the hidden gems he finds in the nasal cavities of small children
Barely halfway through his shift, paediatric emergency consultant Dr Aaron Johnston has already removed a Lego brick from a toddler’s nose.

With some 1,600 kids treated during this time, the list includes beads, Lego, small balls, seeds and crayons.
