The president of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians has quit sparking fears the college is witnessing a fresh outbreak of the infighting and internal governance ructions that have plagued the organisation for a decade.
Dr Jacqueline Small was due to stand down officially next month at the college’s annual general meeting in Sydney — to be replaced by president-elect Professor Jennifer Martin.
