Pharmacists across NSW will manage wounds, reflux and acne ‘to end GP wait times’
NSW is expanding pharmacist prescribing powers.
The NSW Government wants pharmacists to diagnose and treat seven more conditions by 2026, including mild to moderate acne and acute minor wounds.
The other conditions are acute otitis media, acute otitis externa, vomiting, gastro-oesophageal reflux and mild acute musculoskeletal pain.
