Five women who successfully sued a cosmetic doctor for negligence are unlikely to see a cent in compensation due to an indemnity loophole, their lawyer says.
Sydney solicitor Leslie Abboud represented the women against Dr Leslie Blackstock, who was convicted of operating in an unlicensed facility and struck off for seven years for botched surgeries that left patients in “extreme pain”.
