Only 1 in 3 plan flu vax despite severe season warning
Nobel Laureate Professor Peter Doherty says the vaccine reluctance is concerning given the prospect of a 'worrying' influenza year
Only one-third of under 65s plan to undergo flu vaccination this season, citing vaccine fatigue and fears another injection may damage their immune system, a survey shows.
The research of 25,000 Australian adults found that despite 73% of adults expecting it to be a severe season, just 35% of 18-64-year-olds planned to be vaccinated.
