A tribunal has overturned another doctor’s emergency suspension, saying it is in the public interest for competent doctors to keep practising if appropriate.
The doctor, whose identity was suppressed, was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm after taking his infant child to ED with significant bruising and a left posterior eighth rib fracture, the WA State Administrative Tribunal heard.
