No Galileo: Student kicked off clinical placement because of her medical views loses legal case

A supreme court ruling which likened the plight of a student who was kicked off her clinical placement to that of Galileo under the inquisition has been overturned on appeal. 

Nursing student Nera Thiab was ejected from her placement at Sydney’s St George Hospital after revealing she was not vaccinated against COVID-19, which was a legal requirement for health workers at the time — late 2021.
