Armina Hayat was just 19 when she was murdered by her husband.

“There is no joy, no laughter, only suffering and pain. My tears are never-ending and the deep ache in my heart never stops.”

These are the words of the mother of Armina Hayat.

Armina was an aspiring doctor studying medical science at Western Sydney University, having moved with her family from Bangladesh to Australia as a child.

Aged just 19 and pregnant with her first child, she was murdered by her husband four months after their marriage.
