Independent MP Dr Monique Ryan has criticised Labor’s pledge to create 50 extra urgent care clinics as yet another example of major party “pork barrelling”.
The former Melbourne neurologist has called on the government to release modelling showing the cost-effectiveness of urgent care clinics rather than wait until 2026 when an independent evaluation is due.
