The media in the UK is awash with headlines about an international panel of medical experts that has declared there is no medical evidence showing that Lucy Letby murdered babies under her care.

The former nurse is currently serving 15 whole-life sentences for the murder of seven babies and attempted murder of seven others in the neonatal unit of the Countess of Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016.
