Two-thirds of female surgeons in the UK say they have been sexually harassed and a third sexually assaulted by colleagues over the last five years.
The findings of the survey, published in the British Journal of Surgery on Tuesday, were described as “truly shocking” by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
