‘I’m booked out until March’: GP on the specialty’s worst crisis in 40 years

On Monday, Mark Butler fronted Federal parliament to declare that the crisis in general practice was the worst in 40 years.
That statement makes what GPs have known for a some time now official.
Earlier that day, the Federal Health Minister had been addressing a delegation of 27 GPs sent by the RACGP to meet with politicians from across the political spectrum.
Among them was Launceston GP Dr Toby Gardner.
