GPs have detailed the many and varied ways they provide free services, in response to claims they’ve rorted $8 billion
The big news this week is the accusation that GPs are rorting the hell out of Medicare while at the same time begging the Federal Government to raise rebates.
There are already serious questions being asked about the actual evidence underpinning the $8 billion figure being bandied about in the media — which if true would represent the biggest public sector scandal in the nation’s history.
