A GP in the UK has been jailed for a year after attacking a petrol station in protest against the fossil fuel industry and its impact on climate change.
Dr Patrick Hart, who claims he now faces being struck off the medical register for his actions, attacked 16 fuel pumps with a hammer and sprayed them with orange paint at Thurrock motorway services during a Just Stop Oil protest two years ago.
