Gynaecomastia linked to increased risk of death from any cause
Men with gynaecomastia have an increased risk for all-cause death, especially those with gynaecomastia with a known pre-existing risk factor, according to a study in BMJ Open.
Dr Elvira V Bräuner (PhD), from Copenhagen University Hospital in Denmark, and colleagues conducted a nationwide register-based cohort study involving 23,429 men diagnosed with incident gynaecomastia from 1995 to 2021.
