GP provider numbers and addresses caught in Medibank hack
One GP said she was frustrated with Medibank's lack of transparency.
Doctors who were not Medibank customers were targeted in last year’s hack, the insurer has revealed, with provider numbers and at least one home address leaked on the dark web.
The personal details of four million Medibank customers were hacked in October, including records of abortions, addiction and mental health treatment, which the hackers published under file names such as the ‘naughty list’.
