GP practice’s cold chain breach results in 1600 letters to patients

One mother says she's 'gutted' at the request to revaccinate their children following incorrect storage at a NSW clinic.

A general practice has been under investigation and 1600 patients urged to consider revaccination following a cold chain breach at a medical practice.

Patients at the Heritage Medical Clinic in Richmond, NSW, were notified by letter last week that childhood vaccines — such as diphtheria, pertussis and MMR immunisations — may have been affected as well as COVID-19 vaccines.
