GP loses bid to lift suspension for sexually assaulting patient
The Queensland doctor, who was jailed for three months in 2019, can no longer practice, finds appeal tribunal
A GP who spent three months behind bars for sexually assaulting a female patient seeking treatment for diarrhoea and nausea has been unsuccessful in his bid to continue practising.
The doctor continues to claim his innocence after being found guilty in December 2019 of sexually assaulting the woman the previous year, according to an appeal court judgment published on Tuesday.
