Giant blisters a rare complication of diabetes: case

Dermatologists are reporting a rare case of spontaneous blistering on the toes, dorsal foot surface and ankle of a patient with type 2 diabetes in the US.

Known as bullosis diabeticorum, the condition is so rare that the annual incidence is just 0.16% to 0.5%, the doctors say.
