Anti-COVID-19-vax GP faces new AHPRA complaint after winning Supreme Court battle over his suspension

Dr William Bay, the former GP registrar who won a Supreme Court battle to overturn his suspension following his anti-COVID-19-vax tirade at an AMA conference, is facing a new AHPRA complaint over his conduct.
Last month, the Supreme Court of NSW lifted his emergency ban after AHPRA lawyers admitted that he had been denied procedural fairness over five complaints to AHPRA about his public opposition to COVID-19 vaccines.
He had turned up at the AMA conference in 2022 during a presentation by then-Chief Medical Officer Professor Paul Kelly and called on delegates to “join with the people of Australia and stop forcing these vaccines on people who are getting killed by them”.
But during his court appeal, it emerged that Dr Bay had not been shown the subsequent AHPRA notification against him or been given an adequate chance to respond.
