Sydney researchers have grown tissue from different types of endometriosis, in a “breakthrough” that will enable them to test and tailor treatments for the condition.
The Royal Hospital for Women team say they have 30 different lab-grown tissues taken during surgery to help them test drugs and match patients’ symptoms with specific proteins.
