Crackdown on vax exemptions to stop anti-vaxxers coercing GPs
The Victorian Government has taken action after hearing some patients were pressuring doctors and shopping around for COVID-19 vaccination exemption letters
Victorian GPs can no longer supply medical exemption letters for those trying to avoid a COVID-19 vaccine under changes aimed at stopping anti-vaxxers from pressuring doctors.
From Friday night, GPs must use the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) medical exemption form to provide patients proof of COVID-19 vaccination exemption inline with the state’s rules.
