Professor Stephen Tobin says the school could accept students in 2026 if approved by the universities watchdog and the Australian Medical Council.
If his plan works, Professor Stephen Tobin will be the dean of Australia’s newest medical school.
He has not been asked by the government or any existing university to do this.
