Baclofen linked to more than 100 deaths across two decades, Aussie researchers say

The antispasmodic baclofen, commonly prescribed off label for alcohol dependency, has been implicated in 102 deaths since 2000, Australian researchers say.

More than 50% of deaths were intentional overdoses and more than 30% followed a history of self-harm or attempted suicide, National Coronial Information System data suggested.
