Anaesthetists ‘tarnished in the court of public opinion’ by whistleblower’s fraud claims

A group of more than two dozen specialists accused in the national media of fraudulently billing their patients have still not been contacted by investigators over the claims, 6minutes has been told.
Published in The Age newspaper last week, the allegations were apparently made by an anonymous staff member at their clinic who sent the Department of Health and Aged Care a list of the doctors’ names spelling out alleged wrong-doing.
