A surgeon says he was joking when he was filmed tearing down an election sign of MP Dr Monique Ryan and then stomping on it, telling viewers how to “bury the body”.
In the recording, which was subsequently posted on social media, Professor Greg Malham says “Just finishing the job, boys… always gotta bury the body”, as he stuffs the crushed sign into the boot of a car and then later a skip, covering it in rubble.
