AHPRA moves against GP after anti-vax tirade at AMA conference

A GP registrar who interrupted the AMA National Conference with an anti-vax protest has been given 14 days to argue why he should not be suspended under emergency powers to protect public safety.
Last Friday, Dr William Bay berated Chief Medical Officer Professor Paul Kelly as he was presenting to the conference via video link, accusing him of “gaslighting” doctors over the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines.
“I am here today to ask you to join with the people of Australia and stop forcing these vaccines on people who are getting killed by them,” the Brisbane registrar declared.
The chair of the Medical Board of Australia was in the audience at the time.
