The RACGP and AMA are still attacking the ACT’s nurse-led clinics, accusing them of competing unfairly with private GP practices, fragmenting care and costing taxpayers too much for what they deliver.

The Federal Government’s decision to hand over a further $7 million for them to become “Medicare urgent care centres” with no doctors added fuel to the fire.
