Almost 150 GPs about to breach the 80/20 rule are receiving early warning letters from the Department of Health and Aged Care, the RACGP says.

The rule, which returned in July 2022 after its COVID-19-related suspension, automatically flags inappropriate practice if a GP bills 80 or more attendance items a day on 20 or more days within a 12-month period.
