Australian Doctor Group Terms and Conditions – Game of Chance

Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions. Participation in the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

- Join AusDoc anytime between 12:01am Monday 7th August 2023 and 11:59pm Saturday 30th September 2023, or

All references to time in this document are a reference to the local time in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
The promotion commences at 12:01am Monday 7th August 2023 and is open until 11:59pm Saturday 30th September 2023.
Entry is open to all healthcare practitioners with a valid AHPRA number, who at the time of the completion of the promotional period, are registered users of AusDoc (ausdoc.com.au) and are Australian residents.
Australian Doctor Group reserves the right to request proof of identity, registration and current place of work.
Australian Doctor Group employees (and their families) plus contributors are not eligible to enter. Persons under the age of 18 years are not permitted to enter.
Entry is limited to one entry per registered AusDoc user.
The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries. The time of entry will be deemed to be the time the user has successfully first registered for an AusDoc account or logged into AusDoc during the promotional period.
The result of the prize draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
There will be one (1) prize draw for the all-inclusive luxury 5 x nights’ trip to the Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort. The draw will take place at 11am on Wednesday 4th October 2023 at Level 12, 117 York Street, Sydney, 2000.
The trip is supplied by Luxury Escapes and must be taken before 22nd December 2024.
Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
The winner will be notified in writing by email within 7 days of the draw and an article will be published on ausdoc.com.au announcing the winner within the same period. An article will be published in Australian Doctor magazine announcing the winner in the following edition, being the 2nd November 2023.
The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these promotion terms and conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. If the prize remains unclaimed or forfeited at 11:59pm on 31st October 2023, a redraw will be held on Wednesday 8th November 2023 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any direction given under applicable law.
Any winner determined in accordance with this clause will be notified in writing by email within 7 days of the re-draw and an article will be published on ausdoc.com.au announcing the re-draw winner within the same period. An article will be published in Australian Doctor magazine announcing the winner in the following edition, being the 1st December 2023.
Subject to complying with all relevant State and Territory legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to change, cancel or suspend the competition if an event beyond the control of the publisher corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition.
Any entrant who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition will be disqualified.
The Promoter and its associates assume no responsibility for any error or delay related to the competition.
Any entrant found to be using any automated means whatsoever to submit multiple entries will be disqualified.
If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter has the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation.
The publisher does not exclude any rights and remedies in respect of goods or services under the Australian Consumer Law in the Competition and Consumer Act (2010) (Australian Consumer Law) which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. However, the remainder of this clause will apply to the fullest extent permitted by law and the publisher will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. As a condition of entering this competition you acknowledge that Australian Doctor Group may contact you via email with information that may be relevant to you and your industry.
