Australian Doctor Group Terms and Conditions – Game of Chance

Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Participation in the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

- The promotion commences on Monday 12:01am 11th July 2023 and runs until 11:59pm Thursday 31st August 2023.
- Join AusDoc anytime between 12:01am Monday 11th July 2023 and 11:59pm Thursday 31st August 2023.
- Entry is open to all doctors, other healthcare professionals with a valid AHPRA number and Practice Managers. Pharmaceutical, government and educational institution employees are not eligible to enter.
- It’s free to join AusDoc.
- There will be 10 prize draws, each for a $200 UBER Eats gift card.
- The draw will take place at 11am on Wednesday 6th September at Level 12, 117 York Street, Sydney, 2000. The winners will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw.
- The 10 winners will be selected at random from a list of all entries for the period specified above.
All references to time in this document are a reference to the local time in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on the date stated.
- Australian Doctor Group reserves the right to request proof of identity, registration and current place of work.
Australian Doctor Group employees (and their families) plus contributors are not eligible to enter.
The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries. The time of entry will be deemed to be the time the user has completed the AusDoc registration process.
The result of the prize draws is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prizes will be awarded to the person named in the entry. Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
The prize excludes all domestic taxes, which is the responsibility of the winner. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize.
The winner will be notified by email within 7-days of the draw taking place and will be provided with a unique gift card code to enter into their UBER account and the gift card amount will be uploaded into that account. Winners will be required to download the Uber app to be able to access their $200 gift card.
The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these promotion terms and conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. Prizes that remain unclaimed at 11:59pm on 30th September 2023, a redraw will be held on Wednesday 11th October 2023 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any direction given under applicable law. Any winners determined in accordance with this clause will be notified by email within 7-days of the redraw.
If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
The gift card will expire three years from the date of activation. Upon expiration, unused funds will not be refunded or credited.
The gift card is redeemable via the Uber or Uber Eats app within Australia in cities where Uber or Uber Eats is available. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter has the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation.
The card is non-reloadable and cannot be redeemed for cash, refunded, or replaced, except as required by law, including the Australian Consumer Law. No change will be given.
Winners may be required to add a secondary payment method to use this gift card with the Uber or Uber Eats app. The gift card is issued by Uber Pacific Pty Ltd.
Subject to complying with all relevant State and Territory legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to change, cancel or suspend the competition if an event beyond the control of the publisher corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the competition.
Any entrant who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition will be disqualified.
The Promoter and its associates assume no responsibility for any error or delay related to the competition.
Any entrant found to be using any automated means whatsoever to submit multiple entries will be disqualified.
The publisher does not exclude any rights and remedies in respect of goods or services under the Australian Consumer Law in the Competition and Consumer Act (2010) (Australian Consumer Law) which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. However, the remainder of this clause will apply to the fullest extent permitted by law and the publisher will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. As a condition of entering this competition you acknowledge that Australian Doctor Group may contact you via email with information that may be relevant to you and your industry.
